MENSTRUAL HYGIENE PROJECT

Ways of managing your period with dignity.

My goal is to teach boys and girls that having your period is a normal biological process. It is a sign that the female body is healthy and working normally. It is one of several physical signs that a girl is becoming a woman. It should be celebrated; it should not be a reason for shame or stigma.

I will educate children that this is a natural process, it is how we all get here, it’s biology.

Tools I have used in “Hands–On” workshops:
• Animation
• Shadow Puppetry
• Stick Puppets
• Big Mouth Puppets

• Table-top Puppetry

Subject matter includes:
• Stigma • Period Poverty
